Alea Dr. Kandić medical clinic has been providing specialist and surgical healthcare in Bosnia and Herzegovina for over 25 years. Founded by Prof. Dr. Zuvdija Kandić, an internationally recognized surgeon and university professor, Alea combines expertise, modern diagnostics, and a personalized approach for every patient.
The Alea Baščaršija Clinic is divided into two functional units:
A polyclinic offering a wide range of specialist examinations (gynecology, internal medicine, cardiology, ENT, dermatology, psychology…)
Stationary section with modernly equipped suites for surgical procedures and postoperative care.
Since 2023, Alea has been expanding its capacity by opening a new clinic in Ilidža, featuring modern equipment, a comfortable environment, and a focus on precise diagnostics and preventive examinations, making healthcare more accessible to patients from Ilidža and the surrounding areas.
Alea offers short appointment times, personalized examinations, and secure medical care according to the highest European standards in an environment that combines professionalism, technology, and trust.

As a natural extension of our commitment to modern medicine, the Alea Genetički Center (AGC) was established as the first specialized molecular and genetic center in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
AGC provides top-notch services in the fields of biomedicine, molecular diagnostics, and DNA analysis, aiming for timely prevention and personalized medical intervention.
AGC utilizes the most advanced technology and works exclusively with a highly educated team of geneticists and molecular biologists.
A special advantage of the center is the fact that all genetic analyses, including VeriSeq NIPT, oncogenetics, hereditary diseases, and predisposition analyses, are processed locally, without sending samples outside the country. Through an individual approach, AGC offers patients and physicians not only a diagnosis but also an understanding of the genetic profile as a crucial part of modern healthcare.
