Sabina Lenjinac is the responsible person for laboratory diagnostics at the Institution, an expert who manages all laboratory departments, ensures the quality, safety, and accuracy of analyses, and actively improves laboratory processes through modernization and professional standards.

1. Organization and Management of the Laboratory

• Plans, organizes, and supervises the daily operations of all laboratory departments (hematology, biochemistry, immunochemistry – according to the structure of the institution).

• Ensures optimal organization of the processes of sampling, processing, analysis, and issuing of findings.

2. Quality Control

• Introduces, monitors, and improves internal and external quality control programs for laboratory analyses.

• Ensures the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of laboratory results.

• Monitors the results of EQAS/UKNEQAS/SEKK and other appropriate programs and takes corrective measures when necessary.

3. Safety and Regulatory Compliance

• Ensures the application of all legal regulations, standard operating procedures (SOP), guidelines, and accreditation standards (e.g., ISO 15189).

• Ensures the implementation of occupational safety measures, biosecurity, and biological protection.

4. Equipment and Materials Management

• Supervises the accuracy, calibration, and regular maintenance of laboratory devices and instruments.

• Plans the procurement of new equipment, reagents, and consumables while managing inventory.

• Coordinates cooperation with service companies and technical departments.

5. Development and Improvement of Laboratory Services

• Monitors current trends in laboratory medicine and proposes the introduction of new analyses and technologies.

• Initiates projects for digitalization and improvement of laboratory processes (LIS systems, automation).

• Participates in strategic planning for the institution's development through laboratory diagnostics.
